Finalement, que sait-on aujourd’hui des hippocampes de nos côtes, de nos lagunes ? Que comprend-on désormais de leur écologie, de leur mode de vie, de leur vulnérabilité ? Faut-il les protéger ? Comment Agir ?

A travers la présentation de Patrick LOUISY, participez au débat afin de faire naître de ces échanges une action nécessairement collective, notamment sur la préservation de la lignée génétique de l’hippocampe du bassin de Thau.

Patrick LOUISY est chercheur-photographe, écrivain et directeur scientifique de l’Association Peau-Bleue, chercheur associé au laboratoire ECOSEAS – UMR7035 – Université de Nice, Membre du groupe de spécialistes IUCN des hippocampes, syngnathes et dragons de mer.

La conférence sera suivie d’une séance de dédicace ainsi que de la vente de l’ouvrage « Hippocampes, une famille d’excentriques » co-édité par CPIE Bassin de Thau & Biotope éditions.

In the end, what do we know today about the seahorses on our coasts and in our lagoons? What is now understood about their ecology, lifestyle and vulnerability? Should they be protected? How to Act?

Through Patrick LOUISY's presentation, participate in the debate in order to generate from these exchanges a necessary collective action, in particular on the preservation of the genetic lineage of the hippocampus of the Thau basin.

Patrick LOUISY is a researcher-photographer, writer and scientific director of the Association Peau-Bleue, associate researcher at the ECOSEAS laboratory - UMR7035 - University of Nice, Member of the IUCN group of specialists on seahorses, syngnaths and sea dragons.

The conference will be followed by a signing session and the sale of the book "Hippocampes, une famille d'excentriques" co-edited by CPIE Bassin de Thau & Biotope éditions.
