For people who care about the environment, it always seems like we're trying to convince our friends, family, school leaders, companies, governments and elected officials to take action or make a change. It's not easy. Often we're asking our audiences to make a big change that takes a lot of work and may cost money. Because of these challenges, it's important that we put a lot of time and thought into crafting our advocacy messages to make sure they're powerful and effective!
In this presentation, several of Grades of Green's student leaders will be sharing the lessons they learned while producing award-winning advocacy videos as part of our Green Pitch Challenge. At the end of the presentation, you'll know the four key elements of an effective advocacy message or "pitch" and have several great examples to look to when crafting your own. Whether you're producing videos, infographics, a social media post, written documents or more, these lessons will make sure your message will lead to action!
Grades of Green is here to help students from across the globe to take action on behalf of the environment. To learn more about Grades of Green's students, our work or to get involved, please visit https://gradesofgreen.org/ or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
