The Ocean Plastic Filter seeks to stop over 3 billion pounds of ocean-bound plastic annually.

The discussion will be moderated by Danni Washington and panelists include industry leaders on river cleanup solutions. Tyler Gearheart from Mr. Trashwheel, a system that collects plastic and prevents polution in the Baltimore Harbor, Philip Ehrhorn from The Great Bubble Barrier, a Dutch technology company using bubbles to direct plastic in river flow, and Adrian Solgaard, and inventor and entreprenuer who creates travel gear from upcycled ocean plastic.

The discussion will consist of panelists sharing insights and key learnings from their experiences in order to create the largest waste collection system, which has the potential to singlehandedly prevent 20% new ocean-bound plastic annually. Discussion will cover the technologies being used and some of the challenges that will be faced by such a large scale operation.

Following the panel discussion, a live Q&A session will take place allowing attendees to ask questions pertaining to The Ocean Plastic Filter initiative.
