Nous vous invitons à un weekend événement - du 7 au 9 juin prochain - à l’occasion du World Oceans Day. C’est une belle opportunité pour nous tous, petits et grands, d’être sensibilisés à la préservation du milieu marin et informés sur les conséquences du changement climatique sur les océans.

La marraine de l’événement, Anne Quéméré, navigatrice bretonne et voyageuse de l’extrême, viendra nous parler de son expérience sur les océans et de sa dernière aventure, la traversée mythique du passage Nord-Ouest de l’Arctique en solitaire.

Plusieurs partenaires comme Surfrider, TARA Expéditions, Les Petits Débrouillards et Plankton Planet seront aussi avec nous.

Chesapeake Bay Research and Management: Progress and Future Challenges

The Chesapeake Research Consortium / Chesapeake Community Modeling Program (CCMP) seeks to improve observational and modeling tools specific to the Chesapeake Bay and its surrounding environment by fostering collaborative, open source research. The purpose of the seventh biennial Chesapeake Community Research Symposium is to identify and showcase existing observational and modeling research efforts and decision support tools using data.
