To remain encouraged in protecting our planet by making healthy decisions we must make Environmental Education core of the curriculum, while as adults doing the inner work necessary to be emotionally available to the next generations.

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) joins the global community in marking World Oceans Day with the theme: Innovation for a Sustainable Ocean. This is more necessary than ever before, as human activities place unprecedented stress on the ocean, which covers more than 70% of the Earth surface, regulates the global climate and provides food and livelihoods for billions of people.
For people who care about the environment, it always seems like we're trying to convince our friends, family, school leaders, companies, governments and elected officials to take action or make a change. It's not easy. Often we're asking our audiences to make a big change that takes a lot of work and may cost money. Because of these challenges, it's important that we put a lot of time and thought into crafting our advocacy messages to make sure they're powerful and effective!
