In 2019, IOI Thailand will organize a 25 km biking campaign "Bike for Coastal Conservation (BCC)" at Pranburi Forest Park, Prajuabkirikhan Province on Sunday 9 June 2019. There will be around 300 Senior government officers, CEOs, business managers, bicycle clubs community and families to attend and to celebrate the WOD 2019.

La Saison Bleue propose en trois mois un véritable circuit culturel, scientifique, économique, touristique, qui s’adressera directement à un public estimé à 2 voire 3 millions de personnes.
On May 31, Peace Boat’s Ocean and Climate Youth Ambassadors will visit Ponta Delgada, in the Azores Islands, an archipelago in the mid-Atlantic. They will be welcomed by professors, researchers and students of the University of Azores specialising in marine biology, marine botany, and ecology. Meeting onboard Peace Boat’s ship, there will be an opportunity for the youth to exchange experiences and discuss with local students the impact of climate change on the Azores islands and their own islands.
On May 28, Peace Boat’s Ocean and Climate Youth Ambassadors will take part in a series of activities co-organized by Atlas for Development, SDG Youth Morocco and 2063 Academy with support from the Moroccan government which hosted the UN Climate Negotiations (COP22) in 2016. The highlight of the day will be a High-Level Panel on Climate Change and the SDGs held onboard Peace Boat’s vessel with representatives from the Moroccan government, civil society and diplomatic Ambassadors as well as youth leaders from Morocco together with the youth from the island states.
After docking in Motril on May 27, Peace Boat’s Ocean and Climate Youth Ambassadors will travel to Granada to take part in a public event at the Hospital Real organised by Comunidad Universitaria y Asociaciones Solidarias de Granada. The youth will share how the climate crisis is impacting their island communities. They will also introduce the activities that will take place in New York City to celebrate World Oceans Day.
To celebrate World Oceans Day, Peace Boat will start the third edition of the Ocean and Climate Youth Ambassadors Programme in Malta on May 24. The group of youth from the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Caribbean will board the ship in Valletta. The youth will visit the University of Malta to meet students and professors for an interactive session covering various aspects of climate and ocean governance best practice. They will focus on ocean and climate literacy, marine litter, climate ocean nexus, awareness building among children and the youth.
Just like in the previous edition, our goal is to spread and share knowledge about marine environments and marine protection issues, as well as the exchange of information among users of different seas and marine oriented regions.
Through their participation we hope to involve youth of different natural and cultural heritage to share their views on marine issues in a creative way. All works submitted will be reviewed by a panel of International Judges.
A l’initiative de l’Accord RAMOGE, avec son partenaire le Centre Permanent d’Initiatives pour l’Environnement Iles de Lérins et Pays d’Azur (CPIE), et de la Ville de Cannes, une journée de sensibilisation « Du littoral aux abysses » se tiendra le 8 juin à Cannes, à l’occasion de la journée mondiale des Océans. Cet évènement permettra de sensibiliser le grand public à la beauté et à la fragilité du monde sous-marin.
