SeaAhead and Peace Boat US are working together to host two Ocean Innovation 'Free Swims' (June 2 and 9) during UN World Oceans Week 2020. The theme this year is "Innovation for a Sustainable Ocean." We'll hear from sustainable seafood innovators and talk about efforts to decarbonize the shipping industry. And we'll of course leave time for the networking sessions that our Free Swims have become known for.
'Free Swims' are open forums that allow ocean innovators to connect, exchange strategies and resources, get support, and share challenges.
Sustainable Blue Economy: new paradigm of action with emphasis on the Northwest of Mexico
The blue economy concept developed by Gunter Pauli, is understood as "taking advantage of the natural ecosystem to increase the efficiency of production of goods and services, copying the natural models of the ecosystem, and always putting respect for the environment first".
FutureFrogmen.org invites you to a virtual event. Hear brief elevator pitches (presentations) from Southern Connecticut State University undergrads, and panel Q&A regarding the students' early stage Blue Economy business ideas associated with the use of Kelp.
